About R. Wray & Sons Ltd
5TH GENERATION FARMERS
Our family run farm has been in the Wray family for 5 generations. We are born and bred yellowbelly farmers and we are proud to farm in beautiful Lincolnshire where we grow a variety of arable crops, make quality hay, haylage and straw which we sell locally, and feed to our herd of Lincoln Red cattle and lambing flock of sheep.
Over the last century, our family business has grown from a small tenanted farm in Waddington to what it is today. Along the way, we have continued to push forward combining traditional farming values with modern practices to ensure our family farm is viable for generations to come.
We bought Hall Farm, Stapleford in 2018 with the idea to diversify our business. We saw the potential in the unused grade 2 listed agricultural buildings and we wanted to bring them back to life with character and space. We're incredibly proud of the transformation and we cannot wait to welcome you to our holiday cottages and farm shop & tearoom.
We hope you enjoy visiting our farm as much as we love working on it!
Hall Farm: This project would not have been possible without the wonderful Wray Building team, who worked tirelessly for several years to transform Hall Farm into a high-end renovation, preserving its historic character while introducing contemporary finishes throughout. Thank you for all your expertise and hard work!
